About my education and experience
I have trained extensively and gained both a diploma in Chinese medicine and a doctorate in Western medicine (MD, LicAc, MBAcC).I have conducted research in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) and am now a senior lecturer in the London College of Acupuncture in North London.
I am a practicing acupuncturist registered in the British Acupuncture Council.I am also fully trained in Chinese Herbal Medicine and adhere to the conduct of the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM).
I have been practicing acupuncture since 1997.
I am experienced at treating conditions such as:
- Headaches and migraines
- High blood pressure and chest pain
- Asthma, bronchitis and hay fever
- Gynaecological conditions and infertility (including treating couple who undergo IVF treatments)
- Pain in pregnancy and delivery
- Induction of labour
- Breech presentation
- Chronic neck, shoulder, elbow ('Tennis Elbow', wrist (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) back pain and knee arthritis
- Skin conditions and allergies
- Hay fever
- Depression, anxiety, insomnia and addictions
- Indigestion and Irritable Bowel Syndrome
- Fatigue and ME
I offer acupuncture, acupressure, electro-acupuncture, ear acupuncture, cupping and Chinese herbs.
I do my uttermost to be professional and at the same time empathic.
I am based in Whetstone in North London.
